Barn Roof
This pic is how the roof should look, but three years of weather have taken their toll. Particularly the winds have done it in, and parts are missing which causes problems for the supplies and horses e.g. wet hay, limited area for horses to stay dry, damp conditions causing health issues such as rain rot and foot conditions. We‘re planning reclaimed/recycled and long-lasting material.
Add 2 Horse Stalls
We‘re planning to take in two new horses in need of a home. And importantly as our two resident ~25-year-old girls age, we need to be prepared that when it’s time for one to pass, the other is not left alone — which would be devastating. With four stalls, we can ensure ongoing companionship. Leveraging what we have to keep down costs, we’ll build new stalls onto our existing stall / hayloft configuration.
