Our Story: 2022 to Now

SANCTUARIED & ADOPTED

SANCTUARIED & ADOPTED

Graceland Meadows is currently the permanent home for two rescued horses. six hens, two dogs, and four companion birds.
🐶 Since opening in 2022, we’ve fostered another ten pups, until each was adopted out to their forever home.  🐾 We continually take in animals in need and find them new homes, or sanctuary them here.

DAWNING DAYS

SANCTUARIED & ADOPTED

With a dream of an animal rescue named Graceland Meadows, we moved to Ossining/ New Castle from an apartment in NYC.  Beloved Mother & Grandmother Barbara and fur-baby Rocco were unwell, and soon passed away at Graceland Meadows.  Shortly after, we lost Andrew — animal lover, original Board Member, and force of nature. Each lives on here as daily inspiration.

Home Depot in Hawthorne selected us as their “give back to the community” nonprofit, and their generous gift helped us to install all new horse fencing on the property. We adopted “The Girls,” aka our heavenly horses Sweet Caroline and Wendy, and took in our first rescue pups, Nala and her puppy Daisy.

We were on our way!
